Setting Up Microsoft Authenticator

Microsoft Authenticator Setup Guide

This applies only to staff who have not previously set up Microsoft Authenticator. You'll only need to complete this setup once to access WOG services, such as Workday, WOTM, etc.

You may refer HR's Workday Guide for more information.

If you can access Workday from your personal devices, it means your Microsoft Authenticator is already set up, and you don't need to set it up again.

1

Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your personal mobile device

Download the app by searching for 'Microsoft Authenticator' on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

2

Access this URL using your WOG Laptop, then enter your work email address and click 'Next'

3

Select 'Mobile App' and 'Use Verification Code', then click on 'Set Up'

4

Launch the Microsoft Authenticator app, and tap on 'Scan a QR Code'. Then scan the QR code shown on your desktop/laptop screen.

If you do not see any QR code in this page, it means you may have already set up Microsoft Authenticator in the past. If your Microsoft Authenticator app does not show the profile, please email [email protected] for help.

5

Enter the OTP generated from your Microsoft Authenticator app and click 'Verify'

6

You have now successfully set up Microsoft Authenticator
